Nice to meet you, I’m Amanda.
I’m a therapist who believes healing doesn’t have to mean reliving every painful memory (and yes, you can laugh in therapy—sometimes it’s the best medicine we’ve got).
I work from a person-centered lens, which means I see you as the expert on your own story. My job isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk beside you as you reconnect with your resilience, self-trust, and sense of safety. Together, we’ll slow things down, untangle what’s been heavy, and create space for relief, curiosity, and even joy to return.
Whether you’re working through old wounds or simply trying to feel more at home in your own skin, I bring warmth, realness, and the occasional bad metaphor to help you get there—one conversation at a time.
As a member of the queer community, I understand the importance of community care and finding a provider that is not only affirming, but really gets it.
We joke, we laugh, we cry, and we grow in our work together, that’s the best part!
